PC Simulator On/Off Guide

1. Power On Your PC

  • Ensure your PC is plugged in and powered on.
  • Boot up your operating system and wait until it’s ready for use.

2. Turn On Your Peripherals

  • Wheelbase / Pedals / Shifter: Switch on any racing hardware.
    • For Moza devices, the power button is normally on the back of the wheelbase. This will power on all Moza peripherals.
  • Monitors / Headsets:
    • Power on your displays (first time only; after that, they should turn on automatically with the PC).
    • Power on audio devices.

3. Launch Your Simulation Software

  • Open your sim racing software (e.g., Pithouse, Simhub, Rezize Raccon, or any other required software).
  • Ensure your wheel, pedals, and shifter are recognized in Moza Pithouse. Check calibration if needed.

---

Turning Off Your PC Simulator

1. Close the Simulation Software

  • Exit your game or simulation application completely.

2. Shut Down Your PC

  • Use your operating system’s normal shutdown procedure.
  • Do not disconnect it from wall power after shutdown. This is not necessary, and doing so can mix up USB IDs and may wipe inputs from your games. It won’t damage the hardware, but it’s unnecessary.

3. Optional

  • Turn off peripherals and motion rig (if desired).

---

Optional: If You Have a Motion Rig

  • Turning On Motion: Power on the motion rig after your wheelbase and PC are ready. Some rigs may require calibration or initialization.
  • Turning Off Motion: Power down the motion rig before shutting off your wheelbase or PC to avoid errors or jerky movements.
